Monsieur Kanaya

Why I am here in Montreal now?　It's kind of a long story but let me make it short and sweet - I met Mr. Taki Kanaya and his wife and the story unfolded itself.

Back in 2007, I met Mr.Kanaya and Jacsan in Hiroshima. Mr. Kanaya gave a presentation about great linguistic Mikami　Akira in Hiroshima.

Mr. Kanaya is not only an intelligent professor but also very funny and friendly. Both Taki-san and Jac-san are such wonderful people and a happy couple.

When I was in Hiroshima and running a Japanese school for 7 years, I was ready to move somewhere in North America to experience something new.
That's when Mr. Kanaya suggested, "Montreal might be your ideal city, you should visit and see it!"
So only half year later, here I am. I moved to Montreal from Hiroshima.


I'm grateful to Mr. Kanaya and Jac-san for taking good care of me here in Motreal.
He gives me a lot of knowledge about the Japanese language among others.

He is the key person who gave me a chance to be here.

How people connect is just suprising!

As an aside, he and his wife are still in deep love after 20 years of marriage and having such a sweet
love story...
